Set firmly on its black marble base, a sea turtle carefully makes it way to the surface, leaving behind the world of a dazzling tropical reef. A pair of Moorish idols narrowly averts the path of the turtle. “To me, this is the perfect moment undersea,” Wyland says. “It’s the moment when a sea turtle seems to fly through the ocean, weightless and true.”
